Welcome to the Volunteer Information Page!

VOLUNTEERS are the reason we're able to do what we do.

Thanks to volunteer support, we're able to dig home sites free of ash and debris, remove burnt timber, and build new fire resistant homes.

We still need help with site cleanup, which involves removing burned materials and foundations. We continue to rebuild thousands of miles of fencing burned in the fire. We are also continuing our efforts to restore the flood-devastated areas, clearing boulders and debris and replanting vegetation.

We are in the midst of our first phase of home reconstruction and are accepting volunteers for specific assignments in rebuilding 11 new homes. When the first 11 are completed, we'll start on phase two and build 15 more.

Want to make a difference? Come for a weekend, a week, or a month! Our volunteers say it's the most satisfying way they know to spend their time. Are you local? We have lots of need for your assistance too (see below).

Volunteers are some of our most effective fundraisers. When family members, friends, and colleagues hear about what you're doing, many of them will want to help. If they can't spare the time away from home, they may want to give financial support. Please direct them to our website, where they can give online. Or they can write a check, made payable to the CCLTRG (Carlton Complex Long Term Recovery Group). One hundred percent of their donation will go to our reconstruction and recovery efforts!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! And thank them!
